My debt repayment journey has been messy. I was never the person who had the perfect spreadsheet, a clear plan other than staying focused and paying what I could. Many times paying off this debt has been hell, scary, inspiring and alienating. The journey has also connected me with a new community, amazing friends who believe in what I’m doing, and has expanded my mine.

This is instantly one of my favorite podcasts episodes from you. You’re speaking a lot of truth that other bloggers don’t talk about. Paying off debt is a struggle for a lot of us. I love how you broke it down by lessons. Lesson #5 is key. Unfortunately, I might have used my credit card to pay for one or two of my vacations during the last 4 years. The good thing is that was not something that I did every time.

Thank you so much Jason! It has been so hard and I get so tired. I’m pushing super hard now and it’s mentally draining. As for #5, there is no way I could have continued this process if I didn’t take breaks. I would have gone crazy.Stay focused Jason!

When you are beguiled by debt, it may become very traumatizing especially if you do not have any means of paying back those debt. One sure way out of this is to develop a passive income plan away from your regular 9 to 5 job. That is where your passion and personal talent comes to play as a source of extra income.
