I don’t shop as much as I used to, but when I do I’m looking to find a really good deal. What complicates this is that I’m also trying to shop for products also made in the U.S.A. I’m not at a 100% U.S. made goods purchase rate but I’m doing a pretty good job of finding good places to buy the goods that I like. I have one big problem:
Cute American Made Shoes Are Expensive!
I did find a great company with super cute shoes that are manufactured in the U.S. the problem is that I’m not going to pay $400 for a pair of well constructed boots. I’m not made out of money. So, I had to look for awhile to find the same brand but discounted.
I am pleased to say that 6pm.com is my favorite discount shoe website and it’s my shoe happy place. Now, before I confuse everyone: no, the shoes aren’t all American made. I was looking for Frye ankle boots (which are made in the U.S.A.) and was shocked to find them on 6pm.com.
FRYE or DIE!
If you’ve ever seen a Frye shoe you know that they are well-crafted works of art that make your shoe happy…but not your wallet. Now that I’m focused on quality over quantity I had to figure out a way to get what I wanted for as little money as possible.
I was lusting after a pair of Frye Ankle boots that could be worn throughout the year. Frye Ankle boots range between $250-$400 typically. I live in a Colorado so I know that the weather will be cool enough to wear these boots often…I just couldn’t justify the price.
So, I started searching shoe sites and stumbled on the miracle that is 6pm.com. They had discounted Frye shoes. I almost had a shoe meltdown and almost needed a shoe intervention. I have been eyeing the Kara woven pumps for the past year and may end up purchasing a pair for this summer. I’m in dating mode and have to rock my summer looks.
In addition to shoes 6pm.com also carries clothes, bags, and accessories so you can shop for Valentine’s gifts. Did you Forget someone? It’s not too late. 6pm.com e-gift certificates!
If you haven’t figured it out by now, yes I do have affiliate links in this post and will receive some compensation if you purchase a cute pair of shoes or an outfit with one of these links. But, if you are already going to buy one of these items, consider browsing through 6pm.com to purchase your item at a pretty decent discount. I would say that you should expedite shipping if you’re buying items for Valentine’s Day since it’s Saturday.
Don’t Pay Full-Price!
At the end of the day, I think that it’s important to remember not to pay full-price for anything if you can help it. I have become very attached to my money and I work hard for it. I am super focused on getting the most “bang” for my buck. In this day and age of online deals, waiting patiently for the next sale, and coupons-why on earth are you paying full-price for anything?
