Having thoughtful conversations about the intersection of policy, politics and personal finance is a labor of love for me.
Michelle is Money Hungry is an award winning podcast that discusses topics that we often don’t see covered in the personal finance space.
The slightly awkward and uncomfortable topics.
This Fall 2022 I will be covering an important topic: the intersection of women’s money and the different turning points that have long-term financial impacts.
If you enjoy content around:
- Financial empowerment for women
- How policy influences money
- How other countries approach these issues…
Please support this show. NPR and PBS run similar pledge drives-community supported and funded content is important.
Why have I decided to crowdfund this season?
- I love working with brands, however, my goal is to be really thoughtful around those types of collaborations. By getting donations, they help to minimize my reliance on brand partnerships and eliminate ads in podcast content whenever possible.
- To help create awareness about the podcast and what the actual cost is to produce an award winning show. It’s a labor of love! Emphasis on the word “labor” My goal is to cover the expenses for a significantly longer season (will share below)
- Production costs and my time. Each episode takes around 5-7 hours to produce on average
- Administrative tasks such as: scheduling the interviews, follow ups, marketing, SEO, show notes, and more.
- The cost of an audio editor-I love working with an audio editor and I’m now at the point that I have to add that in again.
- Marketing–Even if you’re unable to support the show financially-I would love it if you could shout it out via social media and other spaces that would support this work.

I am an obsessive foodie, but not self-righteous with it, love travel, meeting new people, helping you look good, and am freaked out by people who don't enjoying reading...something! Grab a Perrier, read my blog, feel free to drop me a line! Hope to hear from you soon.
