Where did all the time go? It’s now April 2 and the year is flying by. In this Michelle is Money Hungry Podcast Episode I share 7 steps to help you regroup when you don’t meet your financial goals. Yes, I love this! People seem to think that just because I blog about personal finance, that I meet my goals 100% of the time. So it feels even worse than usual when I don’t meet my goals because I think “Well what would my audience/community think?”. I’ve had to use these tips quite a few times to realize that things happen sometimes, but I just need to keep pushing!

I do not meet my goals 100% of the time and usually it seems to take me several tries to actually meet the goal. It’s also frustrating to admit when YOU’RE the reason you’re not meeting your goals. Then, we blog about this stuff too and people become invested in your success or perceived failures.

You have no idea how much I needed to hear this. Sometimes I feel like personal finance bloggers tell us the truth but only tell us bits and pieces of it. But I love hearing the truths about their failures because it’s so inspiring knowing how far they’ve come.
Michelle says
Terri, I’ve failed so much financially that I have a ridiculous amount of topics to write about.
