I spent a wonderful Labor Day weekend in New York City with my mom. It was an amazing opportunity to spend time with my mom, explore one of my favorite cities in the world and to get away before I start doing side hustles during the cold weather months.
I also launched a wonderful new blog/project with Tonya from Budget and the Beach. Our new blog is called It Started With Lip Gloss where we talk about love, self-esteem, and everything in between. Our goal is to help ourselves and others become empowered and work towards the lives that they dream of for themselves. Join us in our September challenge where we try to wear lip gloss every day!
I also wrote about Why People Aren’t Taking You Seriously at L Bee and the Money Tree!
I am back to eating Vegan before 6 p.m. and am looking forward to the cooler weather. I’m over summer.
This weekend will be a tennis weekend where I basically watch the U.S. Tennis Open all day Saturday and Sunday. I had such an amazing time going there last weekend that I am already thinking about next year! Will be writing furiously over the weekend. Until then, I’m going to rest. I’m freaking beat from last weekend.
Washed Out-Going to their concert on Tuesday. Love.

So true, I love NYC! But, when I landed in Denver I knew that I’d made the right choice not to move there 🙂

I’ve always wanted to go to Wimbledon and think we will try to get tickets next year. Seeing you much you enjoyed Flushing Meadows have re-fueled that desire.
Good luck with the new blog.

I want to go to all 4 Grand Slams!! WIll admit to being obsessed with tennis (as well as a few other fun sports). I am now thinking about the next Tennis Open I want to go to. I am thinking of holding off on big trips in 2014 (think overseas) then start traveling again in 2015. I think the next one I would like to go to is the Australian Open. That one will be expensive.

Haha, I know the feeling. Sometimes it’s good to leave a couple of days between coming back home and going back to work, just to recuperate.

I just woke up at 10:00 a.m. and honestly I could sleep some more. But, I am watching the U.S. Open Semifinals so I have to get up. I will be going to bed early today.
