I’m not sure how, but it looks like I missed doing May’s income report? It feels like every year I miss May or June LOL! Well, I’m now getting into a groove and am excited about how things are flowing. After years of feeling blogging and digital content creation is hard, it’s become much, much easier. With that said, here’s my June Blog Income Report 2019.
*In order for me to support my blogging activities, I may receive monetary compensation or other types of remuneration for my endorsement, recommendation, testimonial and/or link to any products or services from this blog. Please read my disclosure here.*
June 2019 $1,560
What I really loved about this income report was the diversity in earnings. And, even though I half-assed everything because I was having a hard…Spring, it has become clear that making passive income has become a lot easier than when I first started.
Please note: all of my blog income reports are broken into two reporting segments:
- Money received in my bank account
- Money earned during the month
I do this to show how earning reports can be inflated (or, not) depending on the payout terms of an earnings area.
Also, I don’t do the following:
- Share freelancing income-I still earn some money this way, but I’ve begun phasing that out.
- Partial earnings-Sharing a partial earning doesn’t make sense to me because it could take MONTHS to hit the payout threshold.
- Side-hustles-I still enjoy side-hustling. So, I still earn money this way. I use this money to pay off my debt. Trust me, It’s painful and I won’t ever get in debt again after this experience.
The Details
- $28 Ibotta-I love, love, love Ibotta. It’s a savings app developed out of Denver and I’ve had the good fortune to meet the founder, and participate in user testing. I enjoying using it to save on groceries, but you can save on alcohol, clothes, Amazon, and more. Sign up here and earn $10 after you redeem your first savings as a new user. Love this app!
- $42.50 Teachable Affiliate payout-This was a surprise
- $65 Autumn Stone and The Epic Guide to Colorado Book Sales-Note: books sales are paid out 60 days later. These earnings occurred 2 months ago
- $100 Sponsored content-I like working with this sponsor, so I said yes. Normally I would say no to such a low sponsor payout.
- $175-To be shared later
- $500 “From the Margins to the Center” Podcasting Program. I’m including this even though it’s not necessarily “passive” I was a podcasting mentor for the past month for 2 women of color here in Denver. It was something that I would have done for free-but, I got paid for it!
- $650 Elite Blog Academy Affiliate Payout-This one is interesting because I basically didn’t work on this affiliate either (changing that for 2020’s launch) I did change how I shared this course and I think it was pretty affective. Check out the EBA blog for more information on starting your first blog.
June Blog Income with Pending Earnings $1,928
- $53 Amazon Affiliates-I believe this will pay out at the end of August
- $114.50 Autumn Stone Romances June book earnings to be paid out at the end of August
- $200 (ish) $10KVA Affiliate Payout

Thinking About Starting a Blog?
I love blogging! It has been an incredible experience, transformed my life, and connected me with a ton of amazing people. Blogging is a pretty cheap activity and I recommend hosting your blog with Siteground. Many bloggers have begun leaving HostGator and BlueHost and moving to Siteground. Myself included! Read why I’m leaving HostGator and BlueHost (I have 2 blogs one on each hosting platform) and moving to Siteground. If you’re a new blogger Siteground will cost around $3.95 a month (depending on the size of your audience). They have great customer service and tutorials on how to host your new WordPress blog on Siteground. Check out the following guide by Elite Blog Academy on how to set up your blog.
