One of the hottest areas of personal finance is F.I.R.E. Financial Independence Retire Early. You may have heard the stories of people retiring well before 65 years old. It’s not a myth, they aren’t unicorns. They figured out a process and focused on that process. Today’s guest, Sylvia Hall, achieved F.I. in her early thirties and has shared the process that she used to do this.
I’m so excited to share this episode, and by the way, she’s African-American. I will be the first to admit that I was beginning to wonder if African-Americans achieve F.I. (young) and I’m happy to say that I’ve met a number of people who have.

I love blogging! It has been an incredible experience, transformed my life, and connected me with a ton of amazing people. Blogging is a pretty cheap activity and I recommend hosting your blog with Siteground. Many bloggers have begun leaving HostGator and BlueHost and moving to Siteground. Myself included!

Woohoo Sylvia! That’s AWESOME. I don’t think I’ll achieve FI in my 30s, but I am working REALLY hard to do so by my 40s. My husband and I dare not wait until our 60s, 70s, or even 80s to start enjoying our life and enjoying being financially independent.
