The name of this show doesn’t really do it justice. Systems sounds so boring. But, I wanted to go a little deeper. Recently my mom noticed that I was struggling. Parents can usually tell when their kids aren’t doing so well. Basically, I’ve been frustrated with…well, my life. I’m the type of person who sets audacious goals and gets them done. But, for some reason, for the past 2 years things just haven’t been working the way I’ve wanted them to.

My mom basically told me to write what I want to make happen (envision my life) every morning and evening. That one comment got me thinking about what I wasn’t doing that was affecting my goals.
I’d stopped using my systems.

Show Notes
Sponsor: Make Money with Ebooks and Money on the Mountain Retreat
- I’ve achieved some pretty cool things.
- Lived in Europe
- Traveled the World with Up with People
- Auditioned for the Denver Nuggets Dance Squad and Denver Broncos Cheerleading squad
- The weird thing about all of my achievements and almost successes is that I used the same process for all of them.
- I used a list. My lists would keep me focused on daily goals, activities, areas I needed to focus and my mindset.
- I loved putting pen to paper and writing my thoughts down. Working on the numbers and breaking down each task. My lists were like a meditation.
- When I decided to quit my job-I religiously wrote out lists sot that I stayed focused and stayed on track as I worked towards my vision.
- For the past couple of years, for some reason I stopped making my lists. And, my results are a reflection of a lack of focus.
- Here’s the thing, lists aren’t for everyone. But, systems are. Have you spent some time reviewing your systems? Do you use Asana, Trello, or write lists like I do?
- This is the second time in 2 years that someone close to me has basically done an intervention. By voicing their concerning they were acknowledging that they were worried that I wasn’t ok.
