As a GenXer, I’m used to being the forgotten middle-child of the generations. As the Boomers and Millennials duke it out (#OKBOOMER), GenXers are sipping on their craft beer and watching fists fly. Since the other two generations can be a bit stressful to deal with, I thought it would be fun to find some GenX focused coloring books that we would mellow us out.

GenX Coloring Books
For those days when Millennials and Boomers make us tired.
The Golden Girls is a classic show that still is relevant today. These ladies didn’t hit F.I.R.E. in their thirties and opted to live together to save money. Wait, that’s kind of depressing. Either way, enjoy the book.
Sometimes GenXers can feel a little down. In those moments, an aspirational coloring book is a must have.
Walmart has been around for so long that it has inspired its own set of kitschy culture icons. The People of Walmart coloring book would be the perfect edition for the night when everyone else is playing Cards Against Humanity.
The urge to tell Boomers and Millennials to calm the f#ck down can be constant. Instead, give them the gift of this coloring book to see if they get the hint?
A beautiful book, don’t freak out as you color it and wonder if the title is meant to be taken literally.
Sometimes you just have to swear. And, 50 Shades of Bullsh$t has you covered. Do you have to add a dollar to the swear jar if you colored the word?
Tattoos are all the rage right now and this coloring book may provide some inspiration for future tattoos.
Just in case you don’t hear this often enough. You’re totally badass.
For those GenXers who are a little more meta, the Intricate Mandalas Coloring book is a great way to meditate away a stressful day at work.
And, for the faith focused GenXer, The Psalms in Color is a great way to connect with the Bible in a different way.
