1.) If Your Blog Hasn’t Changed Your Life-You’re Doing It Wrong-Frugal Beautiful This quite frankly, is one of my favorite blog posts ever.
2.) Why Do We Work So Hard? Tonya wrote this awhile ago and it’s a question worth thinking about. Take time to watch the head trippy video.
3.) Michelle over at Budget Bloggess wrote about her Grandmother purchasing One Chair At A Time. We all have a lesson to learn from this.
4.) Paula from Afford Anything has inspired a movement and this post in particular has continued to resonates with me. Quit Your Job, Travel, And Live Remarkably.
4.) Travis from Enemy of Debt wrote It’s Over We’re Free!! After he and his family paid off $100,000 of consumer debt. They are ROCK STARS! And every time I read a debt paid off post I just smile for awhile and it motivates me to dig deeper.
5.) Over at Save.Spend.Splurge there was a fantastic post on Filial Piety that totally resonated with me because it’s how I was raised as well.

I’m impressed that you were able to boil your list down to 5, given the large timeframe. Somehow, even though I’m relatively new to blogging, I have read (and remembered) these, so they must be good choices 🙂 Michelle’s post on one chair was a really good one. It still has me questioning how I have gone about some of my adult purchases.

These posts really stuck out. I was going to do a list of 10, but decided to hold onto the other 5 for later.

Thanks for sharing my post! There’s a lot to think about in all those. In so many ways, we all need to get back to basics.

I just feel so spoiled after reading (and thinking) about that post. Are we just selfish? It’s a lot to consider.

I’m humbled that the post from when Vonnie and I made our last DMP payment made this list, Michelle. Although I have to admit, it brings tears to my eyes….but I might be a little biased. 🙂

I love that post because it showed how hard you worked, that anyone can do it with focused energy, and I realized how much you two must have worked together to make it happen. That’s a lot of love and communication.
