Golfing in Nice.
The city of Nice has a lot of golf courses to offer, especially for golf enthusiasts. After you are done beach-hopping and sightseeing, you can check out the decent selection of golf courses found in the city. However the most beautiful ones are found just outside the city boundaries, where you only need to travel about 30 to 40 minutes. Maps can be found on nice-france.org.
Below is the list of highly visited golf courses that tourists enjoy while staying in Nice, as well as other cities in the French Riviera region.
Golf du Claux Amic
This 18-hole course gives players a challenging play and amazing views. You will find that playing from hole #12 will give you views of the majestic Esterek Mountains and the Lerin Islands.
Golf Country Club de Nice
The golf course is found at the far western side of the city and is just on the northern side of the Cote dAzur Airport. It has a complete golfing package: the 9-hole course, pitching green, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker and a 27-tee driving range. Novice players can get lessons from the main clubhouse which also has a golf shop and a restaurant.
They also have a golf shop and a cozy restaurant, a place to get some beer, sit back and enjoy the scenery after a rejuvenating game.
