“Dr. Martin Luther King’s Last Speech. “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop.”
This is the speech that everyone should see. Dr. King was assassinated the following day.
I feel like crying every time I watch it. But it reminds me that people fought hard and died
so that I can have the life that I have. I don’t take it for granted. EVER.
To honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I will:
Dress my best (look at the people in the video) They would never look the way that we do!
I will treat people with honor and respect.
I will fight injustice and I will stick up for those who can’t defend themselves.
I will be loving and kind.
What will you do to be a good steward Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream?
